Google Glass

Google Glass was met with much hype and excitement when it was first announced in 2013. However, the high-priced smart glasses failed to catch on with consumers due to privacy concerns, limited functionality, and the awkward design. Google discontinued the project in 2015.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7

In 2016, Samsung released the Galaxy Note 7, which was supposed to be a flagship phone with innovative features. However, reports soon emerged of the device catching fire and exploding due to a faulty battery design. Samsung ended up recalling all Galaxy Note 7 units and discontinuing the product.
